Christmas Ornament - Newton

Did you know that Newton's birthday was on 25 December? Old calendar, but still (in the new style it's 4 January 1643). Christmas Day is the rarest birthday in the year (no fair counting 29 February).

So hang up this lovely ornament with Newton's image on it. He is holding an apple and the ornament is shaped like an apple. For the ultimate in hard"core", order it on apple wood. In Victorian times people often hung apples from their Christmas trees. But afterwards they ate the apple. This ornament lasts way longer than a real apple and is not edible.

Solid maple or apple wood. Pictured here is maple. Finished with lacquer.
